Mirror Pool Scout: Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. Mirror Pool Scout is a browser extension for Magic: The Gathering shoppers, made by Joshua Sultan.

What stays on your device

Your Buy List, decks, collection, bookmarks, alerts, price targets and settings are stored locally in your browser (extension storage). They are never sent to me or to any server I run. I operate no servers and collect no analytics, telemetry or personal data.

Requests the extension makes

• Scryfall (api.scryfall.com): card names from your lists are sent to look up prices and card details.
• Gumroad (api.gumroad.com): if you enter a Lifetime Key, the key is sent to Gumroad to verify it. The key is stored locally.
• Deck and marketplace sites you visit (eBay, TCGplayer, MTGGoldfish, Moxfield, Archidekt and similar): on those pages the extension reads the page you are viewing (for example a decklist or eBay search results) to show prices and deal badges. That information is processed on your device and is not transmitted anywhere by the extension.
• Affiliate links: some outbound links to eBay and other stores carry an affiliate tag. If you buy through them, the store may pay me a commission at no extra cost to you. The tag identifies the link, not you.

Permissions

Storage keeps your data locally. Alarms and notifications power optional price alerts. Scripting and activeTab let the extension read the deck page you choose to import. Site access is limited to the sites listed in the extension.

Your data and control

You can export everything to a backup file in Settings, and removing the extension deletes its local data. I do not sell or share user data, and I do not use it for advertising or credit decisions.
